    sign it the way the spelled it, then sign it with your correct name, directly under it... thats what they taught us in Business class when something is spelled wrong on the check.... one of my jobs makes mine out to "lynn" instead of my first name, so i just have to sign then, then my full name under it.

    Sorry it took me so long to reply.I did get a new check faster than I expected.This time they spelled my first name wrong lol,but I was able to cash it with no problem.

    Good to know! $50 will come in handy, I'm sure. And I'm curious...do you happen to need it more now or did you need it more when you first got the check and were unable to cash it?
