    I Need To Vent & a Hug

Right now I am in the beginning stages of 2 bathroom & a kitchen remodel. Don't ask me why I started all of these projects but we DID have a great 2 week sale so I took the plunge. I have just about everything out of the cabinets & have fresh paint on the walls but no actual start date for installation. I have so many boxes in my family room I am beginning to feel like an episode of Hoarders. It is freaking me out.
My Mom is now rapidly becoming diabetic, has very high cholestrol & refuses to change her diet.
Went to my Oncologist on Friday. I thoight I was going to get an all clean report. The tech where I had my mommogram said everything looked fine. Apparently it's not. 2 calcifications, 1 cyst & a suspected lesion were found on ultrasound. Soooo now I have to go & have a CT & new ultrasound.
Then it will likely be another round of surgery which I won't have until the Spring. The oncologist wants to wait this time until everything gets a bit larger for him to see to remove & he doesn't want to keep opening me up. I am a stage 0 which is great but the thought of having to wait 4-5 months is killing me.
Insanity is hereditary. You get it from your kids.

I hope the tests come back good for you and I hope your mom is ok. As for the remodeling that would drive me crazy too.

Yep...you definitely need some hugs!!! Remodeling is just awful...and this is such a bad time of year to do it. But, then again...is there any good time of year. Just keep thinking how nice everything will be when it's over!

And all that worrying about health issues just isn't fun.

    HUGS HUGS HUGS!!!

Joy, sending you lots of hugs and prayers. Just don't kill the installers - remember you still have to work with them. As for your Mom, well she will change her eating when they give her a choice of needles twice a day or change your diet. If she is type 2 they will try diet & exercise if possible, then oral medication and if it can't be controlled she will end up taking insulin. Trust me no one volunteers for twice a day shots. Hugs!!

Hugs, hope your tests come back good. Good luck with the remodeling, hopefully it won't take to long. As far as your mom, no advice. I think elderly people get set in there ways and that is all there is to it.
