Effin ATT Uverse and Scripps networks

Argh... I am so pissed off. I just lost HGTV, DIY, Food Network and Cooking Channel... okay, great uverse doesn't want to have to pay more... but these are the channels I watch the most and I am beyond furious... Please Please Please make a decision and get my channels back, I do NOT want to have to go back to Time Warner Cable... ugh.

Sorry you lost the channels you like watching. Try calling and complaining, if enough people complain maybe they will get them back.

Calling and complaining isn't going to help. Att uverse has to come to an agreement with the channels and haven't reached one yet. This is happening with Time Warner and a couple other cable providers.

I know around here they always say call and let your cable company know you don't want to loose such and such channel. Your right it probably doesn't do any good, but I figure it isn't going to hurt either.

At least you can vent to the company who deserves it......you pay them to fight and negotiate for the channels that you want. Call the channels you like too and tell them to be reasonable to save thier fan base. Yell at them all! You deserve it and so do they. Cheaper than a shrink session.

    Cancel cable all together!
You can watch so much now online!
HGTV & Food Network both have full episodes of their shows, as well as hulu shows alot from those networks.
When we moved a few months ago, we got rid of cable and I don't miss it AT ALL!!! I certainly don't miss paying $50 a month...especailly since I can watch most of my shows for free online. Plus, I've been reserving movies & tv series for free at the library.

I agree. Call and complain. They need to come to an agreement and if enough customers start yelling...they will get off their duffs and sign the dang agreement!!!

Oh, don't you worry, I've been complaining my head off along w/ thousands of others on their facebook page. It wouldn't do any good to call them... they're already flooded and apparently from the responses I've seen on the fb page, it wasn't just their customers who didn't know this was coming... their own customer support ppl didn't even know. They keep saying it's for us but apparently they posted a 1.3 billion dollar profit in the third quarter... they can afford to pay a little more for these channels that so many ppl watch.

As for watching them online... I do that anyways lol... I don't work and I don't have a car... so having the tv on while I go about my daily duties is a must... I just don't want to get rid of my cable.
