Sheila you are an angel-friend i love ya and i so appreciate all you do
now as for the op girl children dont understand, and i understand how comes you are feeling so down, bills do suck, and they can take away from the holidays and birthdays, here;s something you can do in the summertime, when bills are a little cheaper-do the yard sales, alot of times you can find new things still in the original wrap,go to goodwill stores, and salvation army stores, you can get toys alot cheaper, then put them up for birthdays and christmas.
Not always did my sons get alot under the tree, but they got something, even if it was an old truck, painted new, they didnt know.they just knew santa didnt forget them
hugs to you ,that everything works out for the best.so glad you are putting that tree up-you will make your little one very happy

I know that I too am a bit depressed about the holidays. Not enough for bills and food so I dont know how I will do Christmas. But it is a month away so I have time. Black Friday will be a bummer this year as again, no $$$$. Yet I somehow always manage. The stores have been stingy these past few years. Nothing like Target or Kohls used to do. They were life savers in past years.
Luckily my boys are older and understand but will still be disappointed if nothing is under the tree or if the stockings are not filled. They so look forward to those stupid stockings. I usually filled them with free samples, battery tooth brushes, tooth paste, deodorant, after shave, cologne, unique stuff etc. and candy. Stockings will be empty this year.

I am worried about my hubby. With 2 types of cancer and possible colon cancer too, what do I get him? He has lost 50+ pounds in the last 2 months so I am thinking dollar general jeans for $10.
I just hope he is around for next Christmas.

    Getting verklempted.
