Why cant they just catch a break!

Some of you may remember me talking about the gal that I did home day care for, for almost 3 years, well the last year she dated this guy..he was a good guy he was great with the little boy. Two months or so after I stopped doing day care for her, they got married. The day after the wedding he (23 y/o)had a heart attack. Has not been able to work since, but had been staying home with the little guy. Fast forward to about a month ago started having more problems with his heart Dr. said he needed surgery. They were going to fly him out to a University hospital in another state were getting all ready to go when the University hospital refused him because he didnt have insurance...they had to jump through a bunch of hoops to get him on Medicaid right away. From what I understand when they got him out there they decided not to do the surgery due weakness of his heart, then were going to do the surgery Tuesday and put a pace maker in. Tuesday was not good found out he will not be able to get a pacemaker he now needs a transplant and his kidneys are shutting down. The Drs give him 6 months to live if he doesnt get the transplant. I got a text message today that he is now on a breathing tube and has pneumonia. I feel so horrible for them they are just getting started together and now they are facing such a very possible grim turn out. The worst part about it is she found out she's pregnant. He could very well never live to see his child Just makes me sick to my stomache!

Poor guy he's so young to be going through all that. I feel for him and your friend too. I wish he could get the heart and it make him good as new. I'll keep him in my prayers he'll get stronger and get the heart he needs.

The young man, Daniel, passed away yesterday. Thanks for the prayers. I feel so terrible for the little guy, Daniel was his only real father. I still need to call and speak to little guys mom but am really at a loss for words right now.
