Show about a man that had two wives and wanted to add another.
That show ticked me off royally. He wasn't mormon or anything just a doctor that wanted more than one wife. I wanted to slap him so bad. I wondered what his reaction would have been if one of them would have said they wanted to bring another man into the picture. I couldn't see him going for that at all. The kids had more sense than he had, some of them said theres no way they wanted to live like that when they grew up and got married. To be honest I think the first wife is a wuss for putting up with it in the first place. Ain't no way I'd go for that. After they didn't accept wife three they ended up breaking up and he married someone else. Sounds to me like he just wanted to cheat and not get in trouble. And another thing the third woman helped them out financially when they were going to lose their house.
and he had the nerve to say even though she did it that didn't guarantee she would be a part of the family if the others didn't accept it. And he told the second wife she was going to have to find a way to be friendly and work things out if it was going to work. And he came home and the house wasn't clean enough for him so he proceeds to chew them out. I'd have told him to get off his butt and clean it himself if he didn't like it. He acted like the king of the manor or something. Man I've never wanted to slap someone so bad.

LOL.....It's a rerun and I didn't like it any better the second time as I was surfing, trying to find something to watch. Tell you one thing, this is a psychologist I wouldn't want to go to. I realize I don't know a whole lot about mine and it's really none of my business, but if I did know, there's just something that goes against the grain here for me.

That was one arrogant man. When the wives said they didn't want a third wife. He said it was more peaceful for the wives and kids but he wasn't happy. I bet he wasn't for once he didn't get his way. I wonder if she was the one he left them for and married. I wouldn't doubt it. I can't believe women in this day and age would go for something like that. I still say women need to turn the tables on these men and have more than one husband why should the man have all the fun. I bet a lot of those husbands would be out of there so fast if they did. I can hear it now you're trying to ruin our happy home.

Just to clarify, only the First Born Mormon or Fundamentalist Mormons practice polygamy. I hate that they even use the name Mormon in their 'title'.
carry on....

I don't think he was Mormon or religious at all. He was just a doctor that wanted more than one wife.

He was just some narcissistic douchebag that wanted to change the rules to suit his own selfish urges. Along the way he screwed up a lot of people.
Here's the latest snark on the show from one of my favorite places.

They were sure living in a nice house. I don't know how many bedrooms but the three women had a room to themselves and he had one, not to mention the kids rooms. I bet he needed three wives to help support that lifestyle. That third woman should have sued him for the money she gave them to save the house. Thinking he was going to marry her.

Sounds like a show I'd rather not watch
