    Unhappy

Wow. When I read your post I had a flashback of my own. We used to live in Kansas City too. (We moved down to the Lake of the Ozarks 8 years ago.) i worked down in the cave on 31st street and that didn't bother me one bit, but I used to have major anxiety attacks driving home some days. We lived in the southern part of the city and I still remember the horrible panic that would come over me as I would come up the hill from the plaza. I definitely feel for you. I still get those from time to time down here too. Mostly just going across bridges now though. lol. Good luck to you!

I work near 57th and Metcalf now, and live in Lees Summit, and got lost around the Plaza area...and ended up on Beardsley Road and the Bottoms, and was terrified. I even had a friend on the phone who grew up in Kansas City trying to talk me home, and it was still a really long time getting home. Thank you for your good wishes!

The doctor started me on Celexa...Im hoping. I seem to be sick at my stomach after taking it, but if it helps the anxiety and all that...I'm all for it. Plus, the stomach could be probably related to the anxiety, etc. The doctor said yesterday that I should take Short term disability for a little while and so I called that in yesterday. Now its just waiting to see what work does about it, if they approve it or not. Im stressed a little about that.

Thank everyone for their concern and good wishes.

I've been on Celexa for a few years now. I think it's one of the better anti-depresants and I've been on just about every one made..lol
Just takes a week or so to get into your system and really work. Keep your head up!!.

I promIse, things will get better. Have faith.
