Good grief

So the new car I just bought stalled out last night. A whole DAY after I bought it. And then my boyfriend locked himself out of the apartment so he couldn't come help me. So I was standing in the middle of a highway in the freezing cold with nowhere to turn. My BF called a maintenance guy to let him in but they charge you 30 bucks to do so.

And to top it all off our laptop died so I am now using the iPod for the Internet.

Luckily the dealer I bought the car from towed it back to their shop and they are going to fix it for me even though they have no obligation since it came w/o warranty. The guy said he felt bad that I only had it a day and it died on me.

have you ever noticed when things go wrong, they go wrong in tandem? they never seem to happen one at a time. That always happens with me. glad that the guy was so good about fixing the car.

Even though you bought the car 'as is'....I do believe there is some sort of 'warranty' where dealerships/dealers are concerned...so he may not be doing this because he's 'nice', but because he has to....being the sale was not even 24 hours old.....but he wouldn't tell you that, he wants you to think he's doing you a favor......

I could be wrong on this but I don't think I am....

if you bought it at a Dealer --- Ohio has the Lemon Law!!!

Even with used cars? It's a 2003.

The car has to be less than a certain number years old and less than 75,000 miles.

correct me if I'm wrong....
