You can use hair spray in the aerosol can to get it off the clothes. I bet you can spray it on the dryer drum when it is cool. This is for a ball point pen. I don't know about other ink. Yes I don't blame you for being mad.

Rubbing alcohol usually removes ink! Just dampen a cotton ball or clean rag and rub the areas that have the ink.

And if none of the suggestions you've received work, try peroxide. I've had excellent results with peroxide for other kinds of stains, but have never tried it on ink.

    Good luck!

Been there done that. My rule is you empty your pockets yourself. Well, hubby forgot to take a pen out of his shirt pocket and it got washed and dried. Ink all over the inside of the dryer. Hubby cleaned it, I was really ticked about it. But I gave him alcohol to use. It got most of it out. I just washed some darks on my next load.

If the blood is still "wet" peroxide will remove it. If it is dried blood stain then don't use peroxide. I found that part the hard way.

As for the pen. Give the hubby a big bottle of alcohol and some cotton balls & just walk away.

I seen on that website that alot of people had success with the bleach towel thing. Sounded better than having to scrub. Wish you luck!

the reason that hair spray works is because of the alcohol in it. I would soak some dishtowels in alcohol and give them a run thru.
    I'm a Baha'i,ask me why.
