Thread: Remind me to not take the DH shopping

ever again..

I have to go to a bat mitzvah next weekend. Yesterday DH and I planned on going to the mall to get an appropriate outfit..

So he tells me I need to change out of sneakers into better shoes so he can get a better impression of what it will look like. WTF? He said his mother made him change shoes before clothes shopping

I told him , no you aren't the one trying on skirts etc and I do not own any shoes like the ones he wanted me to wear (something with a heel) and I am not your kid.

So he insists on me changing my shoes to some shoes I am supposed to conjure up out of thin air.. I really hate talking to him like he is a dunce but what the hell..

The entire time shopping took hours longer b/c of the effin shoes he wanted me to wear .Stupid lace up boots that take forever to put on and off and my sneakers I can slide on and off in 2.2 seconds

I found a skirt, top and some really pretty shoes for this thing but the aggravation was so not worth it..

Oh Annnnnd I have to find a cocktail dress.. Seriously I don't even want to go to this thing.. I really don't buuuut I haven't met all of his family yet and they are all going to be there..

Well put on the lace up boots and tell him you are ready to go shopping for the cocktail dress.

Guess what dumb@$$ went shopping w/her dh yesterday?
It wasn't too bad and he left me alone on what to wear etc.. I think he learned that an attitude can pop up at any second lol and I am no fun with a 'tude.

Didn't get a cocktail dress but I got a nice outfit and platform chocolate brown shoes that are to die for on sale half off!

im glad sometimes i dont have to worry about this .but other times i dont always like living alone.(besides the cat and dog and kids when i have them)
