The video is of a innocent little girl dancing. I don't see why people feel the need to turn it into something it's not... I'm sure at one point in all our lives we were young and we danced around, unless your parents kept you in cages, then I can see why a little girl having fun is a problem.

I didn't see anything wrong with it, but everyone has their own views.
That's what I was thinking? To think it was soooo terrible and then post a link.
As for the video, with the way the perverts surf the internet I don't think I would want my child's video up, but there is actually nothing wrong with the dancing. And when I looked there were only 4 comments made.

I think the song she was dancing to is most inappropriate. But I understand the OP posting this. Recently there was in the news where a teenager and her boyfriend had posted nasty stuff on the web and it involved a two year old niece. I dont think songs like that should be played for children to dance to. Children dance to stuff yes. But a good parent doesnt let them listen to that kind of music or a good aunt.

Out of curiousity: what music should a "good parent" allow?
My son listens to ska music, am I a bad parent?
Will my VALEDICTORIAN, CITY COUNCIL MEMBER, BOY SCOUT son be a bad child because I let him pick his own taste in music?

I guess everyone has a different definition of what 'good' is.........

This thread is about the 4 year old child in the video.By the time they reach statuses of valedictorian, city council member, or scouts, I would assume they are considerably older and more capable of making their own decisions. I believe a 4 year old needs a bit more guidance.....personally, I would have found the video more enjoyable had she been dancing to a song age-appropriate for the little girl that she is.JMO

Do you think he became this person magically at the age of 18?
I have always allowed him to pick his own taste in music. As I do my daughter (who is 11).
My daughter (at age 2) sang the following "Man, I feel like a woman." all the way through a store. Those were the only words she remembered of the song. And, she danced to it. It was adorable!
Again, what music is age approriate? Should a child who is learning how to make decisions just listen to a purple dinosaur sing a song about frogs? Or a big yellow bird sing the ABCs? Or maybe some cartoon character singing about how to tie a shoe?
What music is wrong for a child? Is Lawrence Welk too old, is ball room too old for a child? Is Elvis, and his pelvic gyrating beyond the scope? Can she listen to Jazz, and then tap dance?
Perhaps we need to stop looking at everything in a sexual manner: and just look at it as dancing. Not everyone sees things vulgar, or dirty. Some people just see dancing. Which is what children need to hear. It is JUST DANCING. The view of the audience should be just that. To immediately think it is vulgar and a abuse of the child, is a closed-minded scared person. The child does not see it as sexual: so why should we just assume it is supposed to be?

I don't see anything wrong with it either. Personally I don't care for the style of the music, but when I listen to some of the music I would dance to as a kid, I had no clue what the lyrics meant at the time, I just liked the beat.
A lot of the lyrics from the 70's and 80's were racy, when i listen to them now, I am a little taken aback at how naive I once was.
