Im so so sorry you had such a crappy birthday. Men can be so insensitive.....and I know exactly how you feel (got the same situation here). Im glad you took yourself out for dinner.

Here it is Monday and Aggie wants to do something "special" for the vets. I don't have a problem with that at all. He just got back from the store. He bought 50 US flags (small ones) for every state. I'm sure we'll be going to the military cemetary sometime today to put them out. More effort, money put on those people than his own wife. Still shaking my head.....

Well good for you hotwheelstx. You did something for your self instead of waiting around. Maybe you could have told your hubby, bye, I'm taking myself out for a birthday dinner, see you later. LOL Some men go into their own little world and it's impossible to get them to come out.

I planned my own birthday party two years ago and invited several people. Sometimes when you want something you just have to do it yourself. Huggs.
