bless your heart for doing this. Poor little guy. I agree with the other posters...is he running a fever?

22 months is a little early to potty training. Most children aren't even ready to think about it until they are a full two years old (I know there are exceptions). And boys are particularly difficult.

Based on all that he is going through...I would hold off the potty training for a while. He doesn't need that stress right now.
Never argue with an idiot. It will bring you down to his level and he’ll win because of experience.

Thanks everyone for all the advice and comments.

First off he is doing really well! (except that he took off his diaper in the night and man what a mess this morning, thank God no poopies...yet..lol)

He has a little cold and I am giving him diluted apple juice. He at a lot of oatmeal this morning so he has a good appetite. He sure has the energy!! I bought 2 gates so I could "control his environment" a little too.

As for pictures.... I was asked this before. As long as their names are not used it is up to the foster parents discretion. I DO have to keep his "reasons for being with me" private though so can't tell you much about Mom or Grandma at this time. Lets just say he NEEDS to be in foster care.

Adra I think its awesome you are thinking about being a foster parent, we need so many more. I get calls every day and have to say no because I know my limits even though I am licensed for 5.

Kelsey I decided to give him some time on the potty training, he just is not ready yet and like I said I want him to be comfortable first. He still cries when he goes to bed..I rub his lil back for awhile and he dozes but he is a fitful sleeper.
Be who you are and say what you feel, those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

There is a special place in Heaven for foster parents!

You are a good person with a good heart to care for these little ones.

Like Armymom, it would break my heart to have them leave. But knowing they'll have a Mommy and a Daddy and a permanent home does help.
