I have to pay for that! If it wouldnt start just rip those babies off and save us money!!!
I still cannot believe they did this to my car.
If you have full coverage maybe your auto insurance will help with the costs? Sorry this happened to you. Best of luck

Re: OMG! They found my car!
Contact your insurance company and see if they will provide you with a lawyer to go to court with you to put these kids in jail for a while. Keep in mind that your insurance company is not going to be happy that this happened because they are going to be out money do to this. I am sure that they have someone who will help you through.

Re: OMG! They found my car!
Shawn is 25 , the other is 17. We don't need a lawyer at all. We spent almost all day at the D.A's office!! These guys are going to pay big time!! Today we also had a chance to look at the car. It's worse than what the officer said. They smashed the bumper into the radiator, it has deep scratches from front bumper to back bumper on passenger side, both driver and passenger windows are smashed out! (They just roleld the back 2 down!) The Front bumper is almost completly ripped off. Then ever tore alot of the underside off. All that doesn't even include interior damage, or engine damage. We can't claim our car until Monday. They are still pulling eveidence.
Victims assistance pushed the D.A. to move the peliminary hearing up to next Tuesday!! The 17 year old is still on the run. But Shawn can still be tryed. He wanted a plea bargin and we wouldn't agree.

Re: OMG! They found my car!
My car was stolen once, called the police immediatly, they took 32 days to enter it into the computer system, once in the system, it was located in an impound lot in Galveston. It had been stopped with the thieves driving drunk with a popped ignition. Did they try to find out who owned the car, NO. Did they open the glove box or move the sun visor to find my name or insurance card, No. I called as soon as I was told where it was, $1800 they wanted, didn't care I didn't have the money, Galveston stole my car the second time, and since it was on thier lot for 35 days, they sold it for $3000. The thieves got 30 Texas Department of Corrections, no restitution for me.
Now I have an alarm, steering wheel to brake lock and a gps. Plus it is old enough, I don't think any would want it.
I am so sorry this happened to you, maybe, you can get the judge to throw the book at them.

Re: OMG! They found my car!
Your insurance company wouldn't even begin to cover what it will cost you to go get another car. You would be lucky to walk away with $500 with a car of that age. And they would fight you over that much.
I am so sorry for you. There is no compensation for loosing your transportation.
