Miley caught on tape smoking a bong...:O(
Miley Cyrus has been caught on video tape smoking a bong while celebrating her 18th birthday. On video Miley Cyrus can be seen smoking while giggling and partying, but was Miley Cyrus smoking marijuana or the legal herb salvia?
It doesn’t matter what Miley Cyrus was smoking, daddy Billy Ray isn’t happy about it.
Apparently, Billy Ray Cyrus just found out about the video of Miley smoking a bong, which apparently was obtained by sources of TMZ.
What did Billy Ray Cyrus have to say about his now grown-up age daughter caught smoking a bong?
“I’m so sad,” was Billy Ray Cyrus’ reaction after stating, “Sorry guys. I had no idea. Just saw this stuff for the first time myself.”
As for now, sources say that Miley Cyrus was smoking a bong filled with the natural herb called salvia which has psychedelic qualities, but is legal in California.
Of course, others are speculating that Miley Cyrus was smoking a bong of marijuana.

When she decided to change her image. She's done just about everything to be more sexy and to rebel. At least thats how it looks. I wish teens could feel grown up without doing drugs and alcohol.

I told my daughter about Miley caught using drugs and reminded her about our conversation of teenagers living without adult supervision often make poor choices.........

Uh huh, I'm sure Daddy was surprised. He had to make the statement so he doesn't look like a bad parent.
She's an adult - she can do whatever she wants to do with her life. It isn't anyone's business but her own. I know she's a "celeb" it doesn't make a difference. If ordinary everyday 18 yr old are smoking pot, so can a ordinary everyday celeb....
However, If she was a "kid" I can understand, but she not.
Don't worry about what people think. They don't do it very often.

Sorry, I don't buy that. One doesn't magically gain independence and a sound mind when they turn 18. Yes, they gain the responsibility, but their judgment is still way off.
I don't condone an 18yo doing drugs, legal or not and I don't condone a celebrity with a following of children (from where they gained their fame & money) setting poor examples. She made it "everyone's business" when she sold her image to the public. She makes her living by being in the limelight, she lives in the limelight....she no longer has that privilege of complete privacy. She made it our business. Now that she sought our children's attention and our money....and worked very hard to get it too.....she doesn't get to choose to "walk away" without criticism. She wanted our attention she got it...she put herself out there. She's immature and making poor decisions and setting very bad examples to our children and the children in society. We have the right to criticize public figures, she willingly chose to make herself a public figure and eagerly accepted all the benefits, well, there's a few drawbacks too that go along with it.

I know this is going to set ppl off but I just don't care... Miley is NOT your childs parent (and I can't stand the little twit, so I am not saying this in defense of her), YOU are (you is a generalization and not specific to anyone)... If you think she's a bad influence then restrict their viewing privileges instead of expecting her to parent them.

There's a difference between parenting and being a teen/child's idol.
I don't think anyone expect Miley to parent their children, but public figures/celebrities do have influence over their fans (and not only child/teen fans neither).

Celebrity's aren't perfect - they are as human as the rest of us. They also have every right to do what the want to do. Just because they are in the public eye doesn't mean they don't have a right to live....If we all had a camera stuck up our backsides 24/7, I'm sure we'd all make the news in some form or fashion. None of us are perfect.....Not a damn one of us has any right to tell another how to live. We sure has hell wouldn't want some smuck telling us we cannot do this, that or the other because we might influence some fragile minds.
Just is Justme stated, Celebs are not babysitters... Mommy & daddy should have more influence over their children than some washed up celeb....If they don't, well that is their problem....Not someone on tv's problem.
That is all I'm going to say....

Miley did not put herself out there for our children to watch. Mikley did not sign that contract with Disney or any movie or tv show. She was a child herself.
Her parents signed her contracts. They made her decisions for a while.
People forget that her parents could have said NO, she can not be on tv until she is old enough to handle what is coming. They could have said, NO to the entire thing.
She has the right to a private life, just as I do. She did not give up that right just because she appears on TV.
I do not blame any celebrity for what a child chooses to do. The parents are responsible for their own children. To go blame Miley for your child's choices, because she was an idol of that child, is wrong. She never consented to be your child's mentor. That would be the parenting thing you get when you have a child.
And, I control my house, and the TV here.
So hard, not to facepalm some people

I much rather see her smoke salvia, weed, or K2 than cigarettes.
Cigarettes, although legal, are so much worse than any other drug.
I quit smoking cigarettes over 6 yrs ago & not a day goes by I don't want a cigarette.
I quit smoking weed, and I don't miss it at all..., about a week after I had quit, I smoked alittle and I didn't even like it., and I smoked weed for years., now, I couldn't care less about ever smoking it again... yet those damn cigarettes... those I will always want.
And don't get me started on the worse drug of them all... alcohol!

She's a public person and a human. She can do what she wants, but she chose a public life and has opened herself up for critizim. Either you choose to live a public life (celebrity) or you choose to be a private citzen. She can absolutely do what she wants, but don't be surprised when people judge her and criticize her for her actions.
To even think that a celebrity is a babysitter is utterly ridiculous. I don't think anyone thinks that. Now, a role model? Yes, she made herself out to be a role model, peddled her clothing line, etc. that children (little girls and teens) can imitate and be like her. She made lots of money from it. Well, she just let down (hopefully) her fan base.
