Bret Michaels hospitalized with hemorrhage
I'm so sad to hear this. I saw a thing on him and his kids last week. Praying for Bret and his family that he will make a full recovery. I've watched all of his shows. He has been so concerned about his daughter now to have this happen to him. I really hope he pulls through.

LOS ANGELES - Bret Michaels is in critical condition suffering from a brain hemorrhage, his publicist said Friday.
Joann Mignano confirmed a report on People magazine's website Friday that said the former Poison frontman was rushed to intensive care late Thursday after a severe headache. The report said doctors discovered bleeding at the base of his brain stem.
Mignano said tests are being conducted and that no further information was available.
The 47-year-old reality TV star had an emergency appendectomy last week after complaining of stomach pains. He said on his website that though the surgery "has taken its toll," doctors expected him to make a full recovery.
Michaels starred on the VH1 dating show "Rock of Love" and is a contestant on Donald Trump's NBC reality show, "The Celebrity Apprentice."
Trump said in a statement Friday that he was "deeply saddened" to hear of Michaels' condition.
"He's a great competitor and champion, and I hope he will be fine," Trump said.

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Two weeks removed from an emergency appendectomy, Bret Michaels was rushed to the hospital on Thursday night where it was discovered the rocker had suffered a massive brain hemorrhage, a rep for the rocker confirmed to Access Hollywood.
The 47-year-old "Rock of Love" and "Celebrity Apprentice" reality star is currently listed in critical condition.

"After several CAT scans, MRIs and an angiogram, [doctors] decided to keep Michaels in the ICU and are running several tests to determine the cause. [It] will be touch and go for the next few days while he is under intense observation," a source close to the situation told People.
In addition, Bret's rep told Access, "We will have no additional information until further testing is done."

Earlier this week, Bret hit up his blog with a light-hearted and encouraging update on his recovery, following his appendectomy on April 12 in San Antonio, Texas.
"I've been spending my time in the hospital watching 'Modern Family.' It is the best new comedy out there," he wrote on his personal blog on April 17. "And yes there are hot nurses taking care of me, in case you were curious. I mean, come on, every man has the nurse fantasy don't they?"
While he was in good spirits, Bret also revealed just how serious his condition was before the surgery.

"I have played concerts with broken bones, extremely low blood sugars, the flu, colds, and all kinds of things before. I tend to try to perform at all costs. But, I knew I was really sick this time when I started throwing up that morning and didn't stop all day. I just didn't realize how bad it was," he continued. "After the [surgery], they told me that if I had gone onstage like I wanted to, it likely would have ruptured and I could have died. Not good."

His sister talked on the jane valez show and said he was talking better and hoped to be back on tour in a month. But I think thats wishful thinking on his part. They said on the show that they're going to do a news conference Friday. I wonder what they'll say.

I read on Yahoo that they released him from the hospital and he's expected to make a full recovery. I'm glad for him and his family.

I read the same thing. I've really become a fan since watching him on Celebrity Apprentice. He is incredibly creative, very much a gentleman...and willing to take the heat for decisions he makes. He has never thrown anyone under the bus (yet)...and worked hard for his team!
Never argue with an idiot. It will bring you down to his level and he’ll win because of experience.

Bret Michaels: BRET MICHAELS, BACK IN HOSPITAL AFTER SUFFERING WARNING STROKE KNOWN AS A TRANSIENT ISCHEMIC ATTACK (TIA)

CELEBRITY APPRENTICE FINALIST, BRET MICHAELS, BACK IN HOSPITAL AFTER SUFFERING WARNING STROKE KNOWN AS A TRANSIENT ISCHEMIC ATTACK (TIA)
RECEIVES DEVASTATING NEWS AS TESTS SHOW HE HAS A HOLE IN HIS HEART OR PATENT FORAMEN OVALE (PFO) :O
Bret Michaels was readmitted to the hospital this week after suffering numbness on the left side of his body, predominately his face and hands which doctors described as a Transient Ischemic Attack (TIA) or warning stroke. While MRI and CT scan tests were being conducted, Michaels also received a Doppler Ultrasound of his legs and lower abdomen looking for blood clots and most importantly an Ultrasound Bubble Test of his heart was conducted which proved positive for a Patent Forum Ovale (PFO), a hole in the heart. Dr. Zabramski (Bret’s neurosurgeon), Dr. Becker (who ordered the test), Dr. Cook (who conducted the test) and Dr. Frey (Director, Outpatient Stroke Program) all confirmed the results.
Dr. Zabramski states "There is no doubt that the positive Patent Foramen Ovale (PFO) is devastating news to Bret and his family. The good news is that it is operable and treatable and we think we may have diagnosed the problem that caused the Transient Ischemic Attach (TIA) or warning stroke; however we feel it is highly unlikely this is connected to the brain hemorrhage he suffered just a few weeks earlier. Once again it is great that he quickly reacted to the severe numbness and got to the hospital immediately."
Dr. Zabramski continues, "I realize Bret wants to make a full recovery so that he can be active with his family, attempt to attend the finale of Celebrity Apprentice and especially get back on the road to continue making music. Without a doubt he is very determined to get healthy and make a 100% recovery. Medically speaking it is a fantastic attitude both mentally and physically for him to have. However, Bret's brain and body are not quite 100% yet, especially with the hole found in his heart. Further tests will be conducted throughout the week and I will have more information next week as to how this Patent Foramen Ovale (PFO) will be treated. For now, Bret will be treated with outpatient care which includes a daily injection of Lovenox (a blood thinner to reduce the chance of blood clots) and blood tests."
Bret's rep, Janna Elias, states "Bret wants everyone to know he cannot thank you enough for all of the well wishes, prayers, and good vibes you have sent his way. Even though these last few months have been tough on him and his family, especially this most recent setback, he is in good spirits, great medical hands and is positive and hopeful that everything is going to be OK. He is up, walking, talking, continuing his daily rehab and very happy to be alive but he has made it clear he is sick and tired of being in the hospital and is ready to rock again."
