Thread: Ghost Something?? Whisperer

I'm not sure this is the name of the show but its something like that.
I am so confused I have quit watching it.
Milinda's husband Jim died and jumped into Sam's body.
I thought this was because Jim was leaving the show.
Jim is still on the show.
They are calling Jim Sam.
Confused!!!

I don't think the guy who plays Jim wanted to leave the show, they killed him off for ratings, altho I think it hurt them b/c from what I gather, many fans (myself included) loved Jim. I think it sucks that he's now in Sam's body.. it is confusing. But basically Jim's soul was just wandering around and Melinda begged him to go into the light. He wouldn't listen and continued to stay w/ her. Then one day they were near an accident and Sam's spirit was leaving his body and Jim's spirit took that opportunity to go into his body. Then when he woke up, Jim, whose in Sam's body, didn't know who Melinda was. It was like he had amnesia and didn't remember anything about his life or Sam's life. Fast forward a little, Melinda is under the city in some tunnels and one burst open and started to flood the area. She got a ghost to go get Eli to help her and while Eli was trying to open a manhole or something, Sam (who is Jim) came along and found out what was going on and decided he would go and rescue her. While he was swimming through the water I think what was left of Sam "died" off and when he came up to the surface he was not breathing and I think once he got life back into him, Jim came through. At least that is how I took it, so now it's Jim, with a few appearances by Sam's face. Does that help? I am unsure how long it has been in the show since Jim died, but now Melinda and "Sam" are planning a wedding.... depending on how long it's been, it seems like it might be too soon... wouldn't your family be asking q's about you getting married a few months after the love of your life passed away? Does that help? Ugh, I totally hate that they killed Jim's body off, totally unnecessary.
