Savings Safari and Rewards
Hi! I am wondering if anyone here has been invited to join Savings Safari? I had wrote and asked RTV what a person had to do to be invited and they said people are chosen randomly. Well if it really is randomly then someone here has surely been chosen. Also, I'm not happy with their rewards system. It is very hard to get a prize during sprees. I think all of us should email RTV and suggest a more fair rewards system. I know I have but maybe if more of us complain they will listen. I like playing RTV and will continue to play but just wish they had a better way of rewarding all of the time we spend playing. Does anyone else have any thoughts on this? Thanks for listening!

I have written many times to RTV about problems and the most I get back is:
Dear RewardTV Member,
We apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced. We appreciate your feedback and we will forward your email to the Production Team for review.
Thank you,

and of course no one ever gets back to me.
Writting to Nielsen IAG (the company that owns RTV) might be a better way to be heard. Good luck on your quest.

No I have not been invited to Saving Safari program... I didn't know it even existed until recently when I check the Rewards section to get to the auction list. The program looks like a coupons that requires you to have certain amount of points to use the discounts. I have seen some of the coupons in the list and overall they don't look that impressive expect one.
But I do believe that RewardTV should offer better prizes like a some of the programs used by survey panels. Contacting IAG is a good idea but as far as I know there is only one place to contact them and that is for companies who are looking to use their services. Maybe this link will work better but they do have the rewardtv listed there so not should how helpful it will be.

I did get over $300 in gift cards and a PS3 playing this past year. I did not get invited to Savings Safari and have been a member since 2005. Most of the time they only send an automated reply when I complain which is annoying. Their coupons change often and I've seen a lot that I would use from month to month. The Domino's would be used a lot and they always have some. I have seen Subway and other good ones in the past. They should make this available to all members. It is discrimination by not giving all members a chance to get in on the freebies or money off coupons. Even though I have got more from playing than a lot of members, I would still like to see RTV change to a true reward program instead being a "take a risk to win" type of program. They should remove "reward" from their name since there is no guarantee that all members will be rewarded for playing. Their name is even misleading. I could get much more than what I do if the sprees were at times when I could participate in them all. I suppose most here are getting several thousand instead of around $600 per year, since only a couple replied. If you're not getting a lot playing, you should complain. Only a massive amount of complaints would make them be more fair to all members and open Savings Safari to all members whether they use it or not. I planned on replying to this thread when I first saw it, but put it off and forgot about it. I do keep track of my points from the first of the year and how many I spent during the year so I never have any to expire. I don't know how to contact Nielsen IAG. If anybody knows, they should post it.
It will only be a couple more days til many will see points deducted from their accounts. Maybe that will open some eyes and the ones who lose points will respond. I am a member of a few reward programs and none of them have points that ever expire. They are true reward programs though, unlike rewardtv.
