Not sure if anybody cares or anything but I just got this email and thought Id post just in case.
Dear RewardTV Member,
We are writing to notify you that it is expected that in the near
future the parent company of RewardTV, Inc. will become a wholly-owned
subsidiary of The Nielsen Company (US), Inc. At the time the
transaction is completed, the ultimate ownership and control over
personally identifiable information we have collected from you will
pass to The Nielsen Company (US), Inc., through its ownership and
control of RewardTV's parent company. The management of this
information will be subject to Nielsen's policies going forward, and
those may differ from the current policy. Nielsen's privacy policy
will be posted on www.rewardtv.com shortly after Reward TV, Inc.
becomes a subsidiary of The Nielsen Company (US) Inc. but in any event
not later than June 30.
In the event that you wish to view, update or delete the personally
identifiable information you have provided to us, you may do so by
following the procedures set forth in our privacy policy, which is
available at http://www.rewardtv.com/help/privacy.sdo.

I also received this email today, and just deleted it. I do not really want all my info transferred to Neilsen Panel, who when I, do take a survey, I never qualify. Now I am wondering if I did the right thing, as I never seem to ever win anything from RewardTV either. Any input??? Thanks.

I got that all so. The Nielsen Company all ready has my info so no big deal here.

I never win from RewardTV and got out of the habit of even trying. But what I didn't know was that the points expire after so many months of inactivity. I lost over 400,000 points and couldn't get them back. Haven't been there since.

Thats exactly why I quit playing. The amounts for the rewards(or auctions w/e it is they have) are outrageous but I guess some people make good on it. Oh well Im not upset lol

I saw this email too. I am trying to decide if I'm just going to quit them or what. Nielson is such an inept company & they are now laying off so many people here if FL (although they were given huge tax savings if they promised to employ "X" number of people), and shipping the work out to India.
I really can't understand the greed behind some of these companies. They are privately owned, and the only game in town. They have no competition & make huge profits, yet they are now giving the city they are in the shaft!
Sorry, just had to vent a little
Anyway, I guess I have to decide soon, if I'm going to quit.
