NPDOR Select and Neilsen?
I have been invited to join each of these survey sites but both need to download a program for the desktop to track my activities online. Is this safe? Has anyone else joined? Thank you for your help.

I too got the Neilson offer thru FR and MP - I tried to download but could not get it past my Norton firewall for some reason. However, since that day I have been getting Norton security warnings every 5 min. that a remote system is trying to access my 'puter. Coincidence? I filled in their email form asking to cancel my membership-no response after 3 days. these popups are very annoying. Neilson looked safe, but it sounded like a sweeps only.

I made the mistake last year when NPDOR Select offered it to me, last year I saved the email invite and it offered me $10 a month for 6 months, and I was supposed to receive a check at the begining of the following month. When 2 months went by and no payment received, I contacted them and was told that I was not going to receive any payment, since none was offered. When I tried to remove the program, had many problems.
So in my opinion, it is not worth the trouble.
