FYI abour Mypoints.com

I am not wanting to freak anyone out, and I DO NOT repeat DO NOT know anything for sure other than United airlines owns mypoints. My BIL is a United pilot and he seems to think that by this time next year United will be no more. Might be a lot sooner. Don't know how or even if this will affect mypoints, but just thought I would give a heads up - I usually don't let my points get much higher than 1500 before I cash out. Don't want to lose them.

This crap was going around about a year or so ago and nothing ever happened. Everyone rushed to cashed out their points but MYPOINTS is still here. If anything they got better, they send out the rewards even faster than ever!!!

Actually I think it was 2 years ago - but I think you're definately right about they send out stuff FASTER!

It's probably not a bad idea to cash out when you can instead of banking points for high priced stuff. Chapter 11/13 or not, any place can go at any time. Sometimes it's better to play it a little safe.

Yes they are owned by the same parent company - but their funding is seperate and so is the business. MyPoints is going nowhere.
