Bed Bath & Beyond's website is back open for business! Quite unfairly - they had refused to refund those $20 Welcome Rewards Memberships and if you had any Bed Bath Reward cash those too had to have been spent at a certain time or you lost them. If you were one of those people negatively effected I have some good news for you!

How is Bed Bath & Beyond Back Again?
Overstock bought Bed Bath & Beyond's online retail store. In fact, if you go to Overstock.com right now you will be redirected to Bed Bath & Beyond. This is a big rebranding change (both logos appear side by side for now though) but this chance comes with some good benefits for lovers of both stores. You can score free shipping, a new sign up coupon and many of the old products and departments you enjoyed from both stores.

What About my Old Welcome Rewards Membership?
The company is also reinstating as much as $50 worth of each Bed Bath & Beyond unused Welcome Reward points, which were erased as part of its bankruptcy proceedings, as well as a free year-long membership worth $19.95. True to their words I had $20 waiting for me when I logged in with my old Bed Bath & Beyond account info. Check Your Account by clicking the Welcome Rewards link at the top of the page.

If you had a points balance in your account as of May 15, 2023 or were a Welcome Rewards+ member, they have upgraded your membership status with a free membership in the new Welcome Rewards program (a $19.95 value). You just need to open your new account before December 31, 2023.

Are the Popular 20% Off Coupons Back?
Yes and no. While those old 20% off paper coupons are a thing of the past, Bed Bath & Beyond is offering some new coupons. Sign up for the Welcome Rewards loyalty program will receive a 20% off coupon for a single item. Those who download the new app will be able to redeem a 25% off discount. They are also promising some new coupons and special promotions moving forward.

What About the Retail Locations?

Your neighborhood Bed Bath & Beyond is sadly gone and will remain an online store. However, don't miss it too much. As the new Bed Bath & Beyond will give you free shipping now! You can order right from your home an not worry about shipping costs.
