It's been a while since I've visited, take your health into your own hands

For the last couple of years, I've not felt well, spent a lot of time in bed, doctor visit after doctor visit, test after test, I'm sure they all thought I was a hypochondriac, and finally, an ER visit where they told me it was stress and sent me home. As a last-ditch effort, I contacted my cardiac Dr who also told me it was stress and wanted to do a sleep study. SO, even if all your numbers are well within the target range, even if you are healthy overall, even after all the tests such as stress, echo, heart monitor (twice over 2 years), a trip to the ER, and everything looks great and your Dr says let's try a sleep study and you know deep down something isn't right please take your health into your own hands and demand what test you think you need. I demanded a heart Cath and finally got a heart CAT scan which led to a cath. I had a widow maker, it took almost 2 months to get that Cath from my ER visit, sometimes the numbers don't give the whole picture. I start cardiac rehab next week, I also have a myocardial bridge which is a congenital heart defect in which one of the coronary arteries tunnels through the heart muscle itself. I still have pressure in my chest and shortness of breath and hope therapy helps. I am screaming from the roof to be your own advocate because no one knows how you are feeling.
I'm glad to still be here, blessings to you all.

I'm sorry about your health problems, and all the doctor visits that you have gone through. I hope that the cardiac rehab will be very helpful for you.

Thank You, I am hoping the therapy helps too. It has been a strange journey. I just want people to know you need to look out for yourself. I am here because of my husband (who nearly smacked the Dr when he wanted a sleep study) and God.
