Question for those who had covid...
I had COVID back in Jan. I lost taste and smell for almost 6 months. For the past month ( daily) in random places( my house, car, outside) I can smell cigarette smoke, has this happened to anyone else?
Of course I googled and it is known as phantom smoke, but I'm just wondering if it's aside effect from COVID-19.

My sister works as a pharmacist at a hospital, I don't know how your sense of smell is now but one of her co-workers had to go through something like smell therapy. Essential oils in bottles trying to retrain her brain as to what smell was what. Sounded a little strange to me but I can see where it could help. A friend's daughter thought she smelled gas in her mothers' house and refused to leave her child there and called her father to tell him the whole house was filled with gas and couldn't figure out why her mom couldn't smell it, she thought she had a stroke. Only to find out the next day she was covid positive.
Keep your hands to yourself, leave other people's things alone, and be kind to one another.
