Thread: Unclaimed Property

I checked the Unclaimed Property site and found my name!! They are sending me a check, although it under $20 it's still money. I also checked for family and friends and found that some of them were also on the list!! So I contacted them. I highly recommend you check your own state because I believe they all have to have one, in Illinois it is https://icash.illinoistreasurer.gov/ Good Luck!!!

Nothing for me, but I did find a listing for one of my nephews I shared it with him. I hope he gets it!

Believe it or not I contacted 9 people total, 2 of them knew they had money coming but thought it wasn't worth the trouble, after I told them I filled out an online form they were going to check it out. To much trouble, apparently they have more money than I do.

Got my check for $8.95.

Checked again today and found money for 2 friends. They update it all the time.

I found a couple more people, I check about every 6 months or so.

Looking for something to do, thought I'd bump this to the top. I searched again and didn't find anything for me or my family, I hope you have better luck.
