Hotmail Problems
My sister has a hotmails account - she woke up this moring to about 50 "Failure to deliver" notifications on her phone. We tried to access her account - it is "blocked" because "someone has illegally accessed her account" Go thru several pages to determine her "security" - names & emails of contacts - file headers - all pretty standard I gues UNTIL it asks for billing info - CC numbers and exp dates. No. I don't think so.
So I go to check my Hotmail account. It is telling me my account no longer exists ( I was on last night ) and starts to run me thru the same process. INCLUDING billing info - CC numbers and exp dates.
Is this the latest in "hacking"Last edited by Jolie Rouge; 04-12-2013 at 08:29 AM.

YIKES! I use hotmail for my "throw away" email. Recently it switched to "outlook" and I have noticed some glitchiness but asking for CC info sounds like hackers to me!
Keep your chin up!

I have a Hotmail account as my main email account incase I switch internet providers but I change my password every 3 months. I have to change some passwords at work every 3 months so this reminds me to do my email, FB & other accounts. It's a pain to do but I have never had to go through the things you are dealing with.
I hope you get it straighten out soon.FOR EVERY LAW THAT IS PASSED, WE LOSE A LITTLE BIT MORE OF OUR FREEDOM.
