Cotton Swab Stuck in Ear
Has anybody ever gotten a cotton swab stuck in your ear? How did you get it out?

I use them all the time and luckily this has never happened to me but if it would I would probably straighten out a paper clip and try that

I'd go to the doctor or ER to get it taken out. My doctor told me not to use them in my ears because they push the wax farther back in the ear. He said to use debrox then flush my ears out.

my hasband made me go to an ear, nose & throat specialist when we were first dating because I always make him repeat himself. The specialist told me that my ears were too clean because I use them all the time & I am not allowing my ears to have any wax in them at all. An ear actually needs some wax for protective purposes, I suppose, and because I have no wax my ears are itchy a lot of the time. I still use them daily yet & I don't think I could ever give them up.

If you have someone in your household, let them look in your ear to see if they can see it. If so, carefully, with tweezers, grab the end and pull out. Just be careful not to push it in deeper.
If they have any difficulty or cannot see it, either go to the emergency room, doc in the box or if you can wait for an appointment with your regular doc.

I concurr ... DD stuck a pea in her ear... we had to go to the ER
