Time Warner Cable and Internet Customers

Get ready to pitch a biotch with TWC. Starting very soon, won't give actual month, but everything will be in place by the first of the year, the rep(s) did say they have started charging for this new service.

Anyways, noticed something funny with my TWC bill, and called to ask WHY, since the current bill in NOT accessible, They charge you a month in advance, but you don't have access to the bill, and suppose to pay that. NO WAY I don't pay until my bill is accessible to view.

NEW item line for those who use Time Warner's modem, YOU GET TO pay extra per month just to use the modem. I would give a price, but found out from another thread, depends what part of the country you live is what you pay.

So by pitching my biotch, I got my Cable and Internet reduced just by saying I'll commit to your offer for one year, it's less then $5.00 of what I'm paying now, BUT WITHOUT it, it would be about $12.00 higher a month, and nothing changes, no new speed, no freebie channels.

Go to Staples or Office Depot and buy your own modem. They run around $40-50. You'll spend way more than that buy renting theirs.

Thanks 3lil, didn't know you can buy modems! That's the whole point in an email I just sent out regarding their DVR service, why rent, if you own.
