I know they are expensive, but do you know anyone that makes the diaper cakes, or statues what ever you call them? That would be cute.
Balloons, streamers? Little smokies. You can make some of that nacho cheese dip/chips.
Pasta salads, potato salad.
Have you asked your niece what she want, or suggests something with colors, or decorations, food?

Here are some Punch recipes
Pineapple Punch
1 Large Can of Pineapple Juice
1 Large Can of Water
1 Cup of Sugar
1 Tablespoon of Almond Extract
-Up Punch
1 46-ounce can pineapple juice
Juice of 2 lemons
2 cups orange juice
Mint leaves
6 cups water
4 cups sugar
5 mashed bananas,
1 2-liter bottle of 7-Up
1 package frozen strawberries
Pregnancy Punch
1 3 liter sprite or ginger ale
2 8-oz packages of frozen strawberries
1-1/2 gallon cherry lime-aide sherbet
Place thawed strawberries and sherbet in bottom of punch bowl then add sprite or ginge

Fun Baby Shower Finger Food
3 packages of lunch meat
1 cream cheese
1 Dill pickle spears
box of toothpicks
Get thin lunch meat and choose the mommy-to-be's favorite meats , cream cheese at room temperature, dill pickle spears and toothpicks. You can adjust amounts to what you need. Spread cream cheese on lunch meat and place dill spear in the middle, roll up, and cover and refrigerate. Prepare ahead of time or last minute as it is a easy baby shower food. Before or at the baby shower, cut into about 1 inch pieces and secure with a toothpick. To dress the baby shower food up, you can put on fancy plate or play it down on a paper plate have fun with it. You can also put these in a tortilla shell and cut them into pinwheels.

Baby Bassinet Fruit Salad
Ingredients:
1 watermelon
2 cantaloupes
1 pineapple
1 honeydew
1 bunch of grapes
1 can whip cream
1 pacifier
Cut a watermelon half the way down the center and half way lengthwise to look like a baby bassinet. Hollow out the watermelon and cut into pieces. Peel a whole cantaloupe – this will be the baby’s head. Cut out a small hole in the center of the cantaloupe for the baby’s mouth and insert a pacifier. Draw eyes and a nose with colored icing. Put the cantaloupe inside the watermelon using tooth picks to hold it in place. Cut up the second cantaloupe, honeydew and pineapple. Add cut up fruit and grapes to the watermelon. Cover the top of the fruit salad with whip cream to look like a blanket over the body.

Some game ideas:
Guess Mom's Tummy Size: (Materials- String or yarn and scissors) Have each woman pull the yarn to the size they believe would fit perfectly around the Mother-To-Be's center of her pregnant tummy. After everyone cuts their string, compare the results to the Mommy-To-Be's actual tummy. Give a prize to the woman who is the most close!
Never say "Baby": (Materials- baby safety pins or another type of baby object you can place on a string for each woman at the party as well as string or yarn, enough for each woman to wear as a necklace). Have each woman place the necklace with the baby safety pins around her neck when she gets to the party. The rules for this baby shower game are given out at the beginning of the baby shower that whenever someone says the word "baby" during the shower, any woman who calls it out gets a pin from the other woman who stated the word. At the end of the baby shower, the woman with the most pins wins a prize.
How Many Baby Items Can You Name: (Materials- pad of paper and pen for each woman). Have each woman write down as many baby products as they can name (bottle, blanket, pacifier, etc) within 5 minutes. Sure it is easy at the beginning, but towards the last few minutes, the women will start racking their brains for more Give a prize to the woman who gets the most baby products named!

Baby Scrambler: Another fun baby shower game is to choose around 25 baby related items and scramble the spelling. For instance, pacifier can be changed to reiifpca. Have the women unscramble the words. The one who gets the most right in 5 min receives a baby shower prize.
Baby Alphabet Game - Give each woman at the baby shower a pen and a piece of paper that has the alphabet written vertically down the left side of the page. The object of the game is for the woman to write one word that has to do with babies next to each letter of the alphabet. Set a timer for two minutes and whoever has the most baby words wins.
