Lets see... why did the first thread get closed.. it was because SOMEBODY wanted to bring up race., how White People and African Americans were lazy and whine about everything., again.. something that really had nothing to do with the original topic of that thread....
In the thread that just got closed, I was stating my opinion along with fact. I didn't call anyone a bad parent, I said I FEEL THAT HAVING AN OBESE CHILD WAS CHILD ABUSE., and I quoted facts from both doctors and nutritionists., about the long term affects on both obesity, diabetes and lack of protiens, which all kept in topic to my original point, which was posted in the thread that got closed, which was and still is that junk food should not be available with the food stamp program..again, I stated my reasons behind my opinion with feelings and fact., and I also gave alternative healthy snacks that are just as good as chips and store-bought cookies.
I did not call anyone a prison groupie or a crack smoker just because I didn't agree with their opinion.
My opinion may have pissed people off, but thats my opinion, thats what the thread was about., not calling people out because they don't have a job (if anything I told the mother that HER, of all people who HAS a job should get a HAND-UP)., not calling people prison groupies because they didn't jump off topic about prisoner costs, not calling someone a crack-smoker because I didn't agree with their opinion. What most of you mis-understood was my reasonings behind my opinion, which is I care about people eating healthy., and I will., because I know the effect bad eating has on children, adults, society. Sorry that I care and that I still think that 2yr olds shouldn't eat chips and cookies., especially if they are on food stamps, because they could easily "afford" healthier alternatives.
Calling people swarmy names and juvenile insults is not my thing, I grew out of that when I was 13.
I have never been banned from this site.. unlike SOMEONE.
Even if you read the thread that got closed., SOMEONE immediately brings up violence if they don't share their opinion.
I hope you aren't one of those rude people that say things to people because you do not agree with what they are buying & how they are buying it. Cause if you are one, don't be surprised one day when someone reaches out and knocks you on your butt. I'm not saying that you do, just saying.
, which I find HILARIOUS, since SOMEONE thinks that you should get knocked on your butt if you say something that someone because you do not agree with them.
My opinions were stated not out of hate or dislike for the mother, I was having an adult conversation and debate, with the hopes of maybe, just maybe changing her mind on what is healthy and what is not.. not only for her, but for her son and his future.
Now I'm sure this thread will be closed....

If you want to defend someone you say -- hey guys I think you're being a little hard on this person, you might want to turn it down a notch -- if you want to be nasty rude and disrespectful you do the above --as you can see being rude, nasty and disrespectful didn't stop the perceived behavior all it did was make us think she was being rude, nasty and disrespectful

Everyone is allowed their opinions, this I totally agree with. But, just because you do not call someone names does not mean that it does not come across as a personal attack. It is all a matter of perspective and perception. The mother even commented on the fact that she felt she was singled out, but the comments continued even after it was apparent that she was upset. No one bothered to temper their comments one bit.
Like I said, just saying....and as you can see...SOMEONE was not the only person that perceived the comments as being personal against one member in particular, the mother in question. Do I agree with how SOMEONE puts things at times, nope, and we have had plenty of disagreements on plenty of subjects...lol. But, I also do believe that it is wrong that you guys are singling out SOMEONE with insults into other threads tsk tsk tsk.
Now, didn't someone say something about putting someone on ignore if you didn't care to hear what they had to say?
