Thread: Horror (or happy) stories about living next door to a friend?

I once lived about 2 blocks from a friend, within walking distance. It bothered me that it seemed everytime she came over, my house would be messy and everytime I went to her house there would be absolutely nothing out of place. It bothered me until one day my childs ball rolled under the sofa and in removing it , I found dishes and glasses. I asked what was up with that and she confessed that anytime I called that I was coming over, she would throw everything out of sight. Everything in the kitchen went into the oven, living room stuff went under the couch etc. After that I didn't mind what she saw because I would rather have it on the coffee table than under the couch!!!
