Thread: Have you ever lost your car in a parking lot?

Isn't that such a miserable thing? I lost mine in a parking deck and had to get the tram to take me to look for it.

I did that one time. I parked took the kids in the mall to watch a movie. This was many years ago. When I came out I started over where I thought I had parked. I couldn't find the car and thought it had been stolen. Panic went through me until I thought maybe I parked on the other side. Guess what I did park on the other side of the parking lot. After that when I drive I try to make a point of looking really good as to where I park.

I had just bought a "new to me car" I went to the store, walked out and walked over to a Cougar like I used to have, got in and couldnt figure out why the key wouldnt work....
The owner came over and was like, can I help you? so embarassing! my new car was two cars over
lol

ALL THE TIME!!!! Of course, I think I would forget my head if it wasnt attached! I have even gone as far as calling the police because I was convinced that my car was stolen...only to have the officer ask me if the car a few aisles over was mine!!!!!

It happens a lot. And it is really bad at the YMCA because all the days blend together, so I can not recall where I parked. Plus, my buddy got his car stolen from the Y years ago, so I always think, "Damn, it has happened to me now too."

So, I resolved it by parking far away in the same spot every time. If I am going in to work out, I may as well walk a bit to get in, right?

gmeyers, DH did that one night after we left a tavern (he was not drunk). It was so funny.

My DH and I were on our first date, and that happened. I was thinking of maybe not going out with him again, but I am sure glad I changed my mind on that!
