Thanks to all of you. We came home from my mom's this morning. I'm feeling fine and haven't had a bit of pain. I met with the oncologist on Friday and she said the pathology reports came back very favorable. The cancer that I had was not an agressive type of cancer. It was estrogen receptor positive which she said was good. I will have chemo for three months and then radiation. After I have finished with the treatment I will take Tamoxifen for five years. Thanks for all of your thoughts and prayers. Thanks for posting this Mary.

I'm sorry to hear you are going through this. I also have a friend who had a breast removed last Thursday. We still can't get over the fact that she isn't having any pain, but back to you.....
I hope the chemo & radiation & drugs will be easy for you. May your recovery be swift.
I will keep you in my thoughts.

You are so fortunate that you don't have any pain. I had my surgery in February & it hurt to breathe. It is only recently that I have been able to do self exams without pain.
Keeping you in my thoughts girl.
