I have used several, most of the above included because my son was born with hirschsprungs and got severe diaper rash. The best things I used were, severe rash, Ilex, you must call a pharmacy and order this, for a tube it's around 7 bucks, but goes a long way or what the children's hospital calls Pittsburgh paste, a homemade mix that is for the hospital. For everyday rash I used name brand desitin original, but found the Target version to work just as well. We also always put cornstarch baby powder on the product. We i get at the local dollar tree.
Hope this helps and good luck.

When pg with my first in 2000, the nurse at the childbirth classes said to try Flander's Buttocks. It's the only thing I ever used. My kids NEVER had diaper rash. It's really thick and I still have a tube that I use on my son if he gets irritated at all. Can't say enough good about it.
I had a hard time finding it in stores with my second, but I was able to order it off the web.

Mix some zinc oxide with milk of magnesia (sounds weird) but works like a charm! Very soothing!
