Mine too. And it's not pulling your color out .. it's just the dead layer of skin coming off. Maybe your artist went a bit deeper on this one that on a previous tat. But it's all good and will heal fine.

Thanks ladies. It makes me feel better to know I'm not the only one with scaly tats. (ooohhhh, almost wrote scaly tits! LMAO)

It's getting a bit better....hopefully it will be all healed up before all the Xmas parties start.

If you are still peeling in Dec GO TO THE DR!!!!!!!! It should be fine in a few days. I used triple antibiotic cream on all of mine, color and black. They all peeled they all scabbed and they are all fine now. I didn't have any infection because I used it. Some of them raise on the outline when my skin is irritated but I have wussy skin. The one on my lower back does it all the time. They will never be the same on any one skin. Enjoy your new ink.

It better not still be peeling in December! LOL

Thing is, Xmas parties are going to be starting 2nd week of November, because they need to book halls and all, and I have several to go with all the construction companies I have worked for over the summer. I want it to look fabulous in that black dress I bought.

My last tattoo is also black and only peeled as it healed. But this time (I have 4) I used Tattoo Goo and like it much more than the other stuff tattoo artists used. Mine was completely done in about 14 days...

My first one peeled and it was all black ink. But after 2 or 3 days it was over. I have noticed though, that my first tat is raised, like you can feel the design when you run your fingers over it. Weird...

I used Tattoo Goo once before too and like it as well. And you should be done peeling and all by the 2nd week of November.

Oh and for the record, you technically did write "scaly tits!" ..
