Got a good deal
My dd got a good deal yesterday,Im so happy for her,she had a nice set of furniture and her X before he was an X{nasty creep** while she was gone for the night sold the furniture to get him some goods,she came home to a different set of furniture,worth about 10 bucks,if not good for the trash. I was rippn mad. It was in horrible shape,and we couldnt afford to do anything about it. Yesterday,she found a carmel cordaroy sectional with the seats on the ends that go out,like a lazy boy,in like new condition,she paid 60.00 for it,and the people who brought it took the old stuff to the dump for her.
It looks so nice and the kids can sit down with pride now,and X is gone for ever,so it wont be stolen out from their bottoms again.
All we have to get now is a table,maybe the gods will be with us on that also.
I never boost about anything,but was so excited for my grandkids and daughter and didnt have a soul to share with.

That is a great deal..........have you thought of checking freecycle or craigslist for more furniture?

That was good. Have you tried posting on freecyle and asking about the other stuff she needs?

Thats what were going to do,they have a 99.00 store here with all furniture,thats also a next stop. thanks!
