Free Phone #s??
Does anyone know of a place where you can get a free phone number?
I'm not real sure of what I'm looking for, so will explain what my issue is hehe
Some of the freebie sites, or paid to click sites I want to join want a phone number, and I don't feel comfortable giving out my number.
So was wondering if there was a FREE program or place I could get a phone number on the web at? Maybe some sort of a pager or something.
Since you guys are all so knowledgeable, I figured if anyone knew you guys would

Just look up the number to your local McDonalds and give that one out all the time, thats what I do. If you need a Mickey D's # here's one for you:

I always give the NON-emergency phone number to our local police station
or give them a "trunk line" number ... ie... your local grocery store usually has a phone extension in each department...so give the main phone number to the store.2 days from now, tomorrow will be yesterday.

Eeecks yeah no I wont do the police station one, they have enough to do then answer the phones for that.
I guess I could try my previous phone number thats disconnected
