Update to Opinions about my daughters report she had to write.
Here's the original thread-
Opinions please! My daughter has a report to do that they were doing in school & not at home
After this all happened & the teacher telling me that my daughter needs to open up more & participate more. We then get her progress report. 2 other teachers she has also left these comments on the progress report.
"Kaitlin is a pleasure to have in class. Positive attitide, motivation & participation."
So this leads us to think that it's not our daughter but her teacher & the way she is teaching.
This is so frustrating!

I know it is frustrating but every teacher and child wont get along. My DD was a total diff kid with her Engish teacher they clashed with her style of teaching the teachers attitude everything. We all got together in a conference so we could iron out the glitches. Request a confrence it is your right as a parent.

I know I had problems with certain teachers, but I learned how to deal with it. As a parent, we want to swoop in and fix it. But when they're older and they're working with a boss like this, you cant come fix it.
Try sitting down and talking with her about what is really going on. Maybe after a bit you can draw it out. At that point you'll be able to go over some ideas of different things she can try to make things easier.

We are going to have a talk to her today to try to see if anything is wrong & we are also going to tell her not to get discoraged about this.
I would hate for her to get a bad attitude about school because of one teacher.
Thanks everyone!
