My grandaughter has arrived :)
Lynzie Nichole
5lbs 10.2 oz.
18" long
My grandaughter arrived Sunday at 6:41 a.m. She is having a little bit of a rough start, her right lung collapsed when she tried to take her first breath and she had air trapped in her chest cavity. She was transferred to a bigger hospital 50 miles away to NICU. She was doing better yesterday, her lung had repaired itself but she developed pnumonia. She's in an oxygen tent and they are weaning her from it. The doctor says she will be okay but it will take some time,she will be in the hospital at least 10 days.
Mommy and daddy haven't been able to hold her yet but they will as soon as she's weaned from the tent. Hubby and I came home last night so we could get some rest and he could go to work and now I'm snowed in
As soon as it clears up I will be going back to the hospital. This is the only picture we have, the nurses where she was born took it since she wasn't able to have her newborn pictures done.

Ahhhh the poor thing. I hope she gets better soon so mommy and daddy can hold her. I'm glad she will be okay. Congratulations!
