    Any ideas on how much it costs to have a tonsil removed?

    It just depends. I know if you are an adult it is usually more $. Sorry I couldn't help more.

    I know someone who is having this done. Depending on the status of them, it could start around a couple thousand...plus dr billing (anastesia, meds) etc. Total Scam if you ask me.

    My son's was a little over $7000 but that included a few days in the children's ICU.

    My daughter had hers taken out Dec 26 2006 and for the entire amount it was bout $3,000 that included, everything. She had it done at Evansville, Indiana

    My Daddy is a retired ENT, and he used to charge those without insurance and no hope for any kind about a grand..including all, now he is compromised, but if he could have helped you, he would have.
    Expect about $3,000 for the procedure, and more for the room and meds/anthestia, but you might if you have good credit and a down payment, get a deal, it is not fair, I know.

    At last....my love has come around..
