whats cooking today? Monday
We had burger king for lunch and I just didnt care for it as we hardly ever eat fast food..but tonight it will be lima beans cooked with sausage and a hoe cake..yummy!

Hoecake is a type of cornbread/bread made of cornmeal or unleavened flour, salt and water, which is very thin in texture, and fried in cooking oil in a skillet. It became known as "hoecake" because field hands often cooked it on a shovel or hoe held to an open flame
I had to look it up becauase I didnt know either...lol
