    Nintendo DS

How many of you have gotten these for your kid's? My DD wants one for her birthday, it says that you can use gameboy games in it? My oldest son had the very first gameboy's then my youngest 2 got the gameboy advances and the games that my 19 year old son used to play works in them. I was just wondering if these are worth the money.

I have one myself. Yes, you can play all of the Gameboy games in it. I love mine and my oldest son loved his. I plan on getting my little ones one of their own very soon.

My son has one and loves it. It keeps them busy in the car.
Only GBA games and DS games will work in it anything older will not...
But only the DS games allow you to use the DS pen to navigate thru the games, otherwise you use the buttons.

I play Brain Age and Animal Crossing. Kait has that for her DS too, so we can visit each others towns.

I want to get my kids a DS, especially my youngest son because I think it would help with his muscular excercizes he needs to do with his hands. But for the cost I am terrified to do that since I know what he did to the magnadoodle

My dd has a pink was too. We love it. Yes I say we. I am hooked on 2 games. Cooking mama and brain something.. I think its worth it. I also noticed that it seems like to me, that they have more games for girls with this system.

They make these Nerf covers for it. I got my DD one for hers. They come in colors also. She dropped it down the stairs and you can't even tell.
