    Oh barf, never again!

We go to The Honey Baked Ham store to buy one, you know,if like $75 dropped from the sky we'd go there.

I talked my hubby into buying a Logan Farms honey glazed spiral cut ham one year---yes I had a coupon for some percent off--- and I think he has had honey glazed ham dreams ever since. LOL It was scrumptious but expensive.

Now he wants one this year since we have the whole family coming over. His sister will bring a ton of food since she always does so he assigned me the task of finding a scrumptious ham again but the store is gone now. Guess people did not want to shell out that kind of money. I could send for one but with the postage I can just imagine the cost and anyway it is late to send for anything and get here by Christmas.

I'll tell him about Aldi's and Walmart. We do have a Mennonite and Amish community about 65 miles away so I may ask his sis who lives near there to make a trip over there to see what they have.

Thanks guys, you always come through for everyone.

Can you go to the local market and have them spiral-cut the ham? I think I have a recipe for the glaze that's similar to the one for the Honeybaked Hams if you're interested. Sounds like Wal-Mart might be the best bet at this point though.
Dear Lord, please give me the strength to not slap an idiot today......Amen.

We will check tonight. It may end up like that movie where the women are running to get the last one and collide. LOL

I am really lucky. My hubby is in charge of making the holiday dinners. We are to make the main dish and his sis and her girls will bring a ton of food. They always do, so I just sit back and eat. I do have to do the research this year though. Oh, and I do the clean up but most help with that if they don't need to leave.

My hubby has honey glazed ham dancing in his head instead of sugar plum fairies. LOL

I'd have to go to KC for that store. No ham stores in our area anymore? Maybe not. We won't shell out that kind of money when we have great hams here and those who can make the honey glaze. Wish i was one of them.

I'll just turn it over to my SIL. She is a great cook anyway and loves to do it.
