The little dogs do. At night I have my yorkie that sleeps under the cover at the small of my back, a shih tzu that sleeps in the curve of my feet and my little pomeranian that usually ends up sleeping on my pillow or in the curve of my knees. Sometimes the "boys" (2 male chihuahuas) will sleep with us, but they usually sleep out on the couch.

we have 3 cats and one dog and yes - my 3 cats sleep with us - but you have to remember - lol - that 2 of my cats are huge - my oldest - who is 5 weighs 24 pounds and my 2nd oldest cat weighs 17 pounds and then there is the newest kitten who weighs 4 pounds -
and my dog sleeps wherever she wants - usually downstairs in the bathroom (for some reason)

I grew up that animals didn't sleep in your bed. I started when my son was young he slept in his own room and I told him to start putting the dog in his bed . I didn't like him sleeping alone. We had a large Malamute when it started. I figured no one is messing with that boy while a dog like that is in his bed. You hear so much on the news that I decided to give him some protection.

We don't normally let the cats sleep with us, but sometimes, my domestic, bangs on my bedroom door and screams til I let her in..the she proceeds to give me the BEST massage I could ever ask for, and talks to me the whole time..."you're so tense, I should have come weeks ago, you should really leave your door open at night...."....lol

When I still lived at home, our dog would sleep with me. I loved it. My cat now only jumps on the bed if she wants to be fed in the am. I really have no idea where she sleeps. Come to think of it, I usually only see her when she's eating.
    Is that normal????

Jamie our Westie will only sleep in bed when it's raining....sleeps on dh side. They're the best of pals. If not there he sleeps in his bed on DH side of our bed. Hot Toddie Toy Pom sleeps on my pillow. Snores like you wouldn't believe to be only 4 lbs. Maxwell Smart the cat sleeps in the window where our bed is located. Fishy and Pishy (neices fish) sleep in their tank...........she gets upset that we can't take them out of the water to sleep in her twin bed when she's here.

Little 5# Bridget a yorkie/terrior mix, sleeps with me. I used an old afgan to make a bed for her on my bed. I put her up there and she falls asleep right away. Doesn't make noises or wiggle around. I usually get up for a potty run in the middle of the night and Bridget doesn't even wake up.

So glad she stays on that afgan/bed or she would be sleeping on the floor. Don't want dog hair all over my bedspread.
