I think I will be sick if I hear anymore "Celebrities" finding Jesus and clutching their bibles. After being a jailor for a good many years, I can tell you, THEY all find Jesus!!! At least for awhile. It really gripes me to no end. Vick ought to be thrown into a maximum security prison and put in population!!!He would then find out what kind of pain his dogs had to endure. I cannot tell you just how angry I am about all of this. It just makes me sick.

Oh, you are so right T. Money does talk and the bigger the money the louder it talks. It is such a shame. Makes a mockery out of the whole judicial system.

No clue other than NFL politics...........But he needs to be in prison for a long time till no one remembers who he is or was....................

Living in Richmond were all this mess is going on we hear it all the time. His next court date is Dec 10. so the Falcons are prob. waiting till that to make the final decision. Although they do want some money back that for not being able to keep his contractual obligations. BUT with all the houses, toys, and the dog mess it's not like he put the money in savings to give back. DH works for a bank and was in loans in the beg. Several times he would get calls from pro players a month after the season was over they weren't getting the monthly checks they needed a loan. They live a big life style, bigger than all the big buck they are getting.

OK, kids, Micheal Vick will NOT play this year and Atlanta needs to keep the morale among it's player's..He probably will never be recieved in a stadium ever again, he has or is in the process of being sued for MONIES recieved and/or promised by the Falcon's..
not to mention endorsements..he had I think a NIKE line coming out..
His career is finished and so sad, he had it all, and he became some sort of "freak side show", makes no sense..all that money turned him practically CANNIBAL, except his choice was dogs..and they beat, mangaled and killed dogs who lost..that is more than sick..
AND ALL HIS "FRIENDS" SOLD HIM OUT.
If he got a hold of my 2 dogs, I would like no issue in trying to K**L him, that is like hurting a child, both are helpless and deserve nothing but out and out love, appartently, Mr. Vick didn't see it that way.
All the Falcons are doing is DAMAGE control, thier team is having to deal with Vick on the squad, but the BOMB will drop..sonner or later..
Bet me?
Imagine if he was your friend and had a "dirty secret", I bet his team mates feel just like that.
HORRID, SHOCKED and ANGRY, they will be followed for reactions and more..

Vick was suspended indefinitely by the NFL last week.
In Atlanta, the Falcons said they would not cut Vick immediately because of salary-cap issues. The team intends to pursue the $22 million in bonus money that he already received in a record $130 million contract signed in 2004.
"We cannot tell you today that Michael is cut from the team," owner Arthur Blank said. "It may feel better emotionally for us and many of our fans, but it's not in the long-term best interests of the franchise."

They have not cut him YET due to legal issues is what it sounds like ...

Yea, I thought it was all over for him too... they even even wanted his 22 million sign-on bonus back.
Jail-house religion, that's what it's called...
I hope, if he plays again, that people boycott the games and show that is was NOT for the best interest to the team to keep him on.
I really hate hearing this...
"We had to get rid of the kids, the DOG was allergic!"

the falcons will cut him when they work out recovering his signing bonus.

consider this, vick was only 2 or 3 years into a 10 year(?)-$130 million contract. this was the main reason i thought he was overrated in the first place, without the dogfighting issues. judg hudson will sentence vick on dec. 10. he'll be cut by then, is my guess.
please repeat to yourself,"it's just a post, i should really just relax...."
