Computer Question...
I was iming and needed to save a session but didn't. Does anyone know if its soewhere on my puter? I'm imaging it would be. And if so where or how I cna find it? Any help would be appreciated!

Ok on Yahoo...On the yahoo messenger Go to the top and click on Messenger and scroll down to Preferences now on the left side is a list and click on Archives and in there click on View Archives. That should do it.....If its a different messenger sorry, cant help LOL

the only way yahoo messenger will save archives is if you set your preferences to save.I used to be able to find a lot of mine in c drive, program files,yahoo,messenger,profiles then whatever name you used.now I dont know if your preferences to save archives are turned on or not.if not then I dont know if theyre saved anywhere or not.same goes for aim or anyother messenger,they would be listed similar to the yahoo one above.they do have programs to read the IMs on your pc that are encrypted(if theyre saved they will be encrypted to where you cant read them in like wordpad,notepad,etc) so you might have to download the program to read the saved IMs if theyre on your pc.other than that if its yahoo just set your preferences to save archives.

Ok, found it under yahoo. Can't find profiles under MSN messenger. Does anyone know where they are? ALso the data I found is .dat files. So how do I open them to be able to read the text? Thanks!

the only way to read those files is to get a thing for yahoo to read yahoo messenger files.cant think of what theyre called but it will read the encrypted dat files.its something like a messenger file reader or something.
