I couldn't find to much on this doll. Tried finding pictures of it but didn't have any luck. Below is about all I could find on it and there is no image available on this site.
I don't remember this doll being out but then again it may have come out before my daughter was old enough to start asking me for everything she saw in TV.

    Baby Surprise
This was the baby that came with the cloth pouch that you put in the water sothat the cloth would dissolve. Enclosed was the baby's "papers" and itsname, which you would mail into the company so the baby would be registeredto you. There was also puppy surprise, and kitty surprise.

I remember them too. My sister had 1 and she was born in 1980 so it must have been mid to later 80's that it came out. Being I was a teenager at the time, I had no interest at all in "dolls" so I don't remember much about them. I will talk to my sister and see what she remembers. Good luck finding info. Also, maybe check e-bay. I bought an original drowsy doll on there which was a baby doll that I had when I was a toddler back in the early 70's.

I only found 1 on ebay. Here is the link to it. http://cgi.ebay.com/Oddzon-Infant-Ne...QQcmdZViewItem
They also have bunny surprise, I even seen a penguin surprise! Very cute!
