I just got this in my email. Using a different window I went to check it out and it doesn't look like they got into my paypal. But this is kinda scary.

You should forward those types of emails to paypal. It will help them bust those nasty no gooders.

You can also check out the email to see if its was created recently so you can tell.

profile.yahoo.com/"email name here" without the quotes in a new browser window.

This is what I get when I typed in profile.yahoo.com/dechukiat:

Sorry, the page you requested was not found.
Please check the URL for proper spelling and capitalization. You may also want to try http://profiles.yahoo.com/dechukiat, and update your bookmarks accordingly. If you're still having trouble locating a destination on Yahoo!, try visiting the Yahoo! home page (www.yahoo.com), or look through a list of Yahoo!'s online services. Also, you may find what you're looking for if you try searching below.

I did copy and paste this into an email to paypal. I didn't want to forward or reply or click on anything with this email.

Mine came from PayPaI, not PayPal, so I knew enough to just send it on to PayPal for them to deal with. I thought it looked funny...

I get those all the time. Some that claim that they're from Ebay. If you get any of these forward them to [email protected] and [email protected] They'll e-mail you a confirmation that they received your forward and are looking into it and they give you tips on what to look out for in possible "phishing" e-mails.
