Kanye West: "George Bush Doesn't Care About Black People"

"Kanye West used live TV to his advantage when he went into a tirade against President Bush (and the media) during NBC's Hurricane Katrina fundraiser. This clip is worth seeing, if only for the perplexed look on Mike Meyer's face!"

Well, they definitely won't let him speak on live television again. If he does, there will surely be a delay.

I don't think President Bush cares very much for ANYONE affected by this, no matter the race. (Other than the media opportunity.)

What an IDIOT! I felt sorry for Mike Meyers....

Re: Kanye West: "George Bush Doesn't Care About Black People"
I made sure that I watched this last night. I have been so sad for all of the people and all of the awful conditions there. I will never know what it was like when it happened. I was also watching because one of my favorite artists of all time, Harry Connick Jr., spear-headed the Relief Concert that Kayne pretty much used as his own person opinion soap-box. Kayne did nothing to help anyone else but himself. Anyway, Harry is considered New Orleans' favorite son , so he went to the area for a day or two and then got the concert together. I am so proud that Harry is so proud of his area down there. He walked through the streets and listened to the people. I find it really terrible that Kayne used the concert as his own political platform. Does he not understand that he was there to help others and not push his own political thoughts? I don't usually agree with Bush either, but that was not the time and place for him to make that comment. Some celebrities have more money than sense....JMO
Please pray for the families of the miners. May they be comforted by God.

Put "Kanye West Anti Bush" in your search engine and use the 'video' tab to try and find another clip. It's actually kind of amusing because he's obviously very nervous and not well spoken at all.
I don't like Bush either, but I'm not sure this was the correct platform for this 'speech.'

Kayne West is an idiot.
My friend worked the Red Cross hotline last night. and people called her, and chewed her out, and refused to donate after that nut job was on.
He is a disgrace.

I agree w/ you! I was talking to my best friend who used to work for the Red Cross and she asked me if I saw it, of course I hadn't. Thanks for the link, very interesting.
To be honest, I wouldn't donate to the Red Cross either.. but that isn't my reason, there are other orgs out there that use more of their donated money to help the ppl effected. I am not bashing the Red Cross that is just how I feel.
