Thread: What is this WinFixer Bull$%^*?

Just now when I came to the forum to post my DC# for the back to school exchange, these popups came up and tried to download some WinFixer crap on my computer! I have popup blockers, and the download was stopped by my anti-virus, but even though I kept saying 'no' and 'cancel' it STILL tried to download itself. I am SO not happy!


Anyone else get that? It didn't happen this morning when I came to the forum...

I have windows xp service pack 2 but have never had that happen. Weird.

I don't think so. Sounds like someone is trying to get you to click "ok" so you will install malware on your PC.

First the porn redirects, now this. Was BBS really fixed? Or are we biding our time till it crashes our PC's?
